handout of drills and games specific for this age group
My husband and I have coached MINIs for years, so fresh new faces are needed. Energy and enthusiasm are far more important than lax knowledge. Focus: concepts of listening to coach's instructions, building stamina for 60 minutes of focused movement, and being a good teammate. Ground balls, passing, catching, and shooting techniques are introduced.
There are fields to the left and right of our shed. If a game is happening, we will play to the left of the shed. With any luck, there will be a port-a-john. We had to do without during COVID (think of the rows you saw at various spots around town), but we have been told a delivery is already scheduled.
We were there today trying to line the fields. *There is a good chance we will have to delay a week as both fields have standing water. Watch your emails for a notice by Friday afternoon. See you there -- as soon as the fields dry!
