Every organization has needs not covered by standard registration fees. For Cocheco Lacrosse, these include have-to-have items such as scholarships (3), we-really-ought-to-have stuff like pitchbacks and new nets, and, "WOW! This would be great!" items.
We currently offer three (3) scholarships each season, including registration fee, uniform, and appropriate gear. Since Cocheco now serves 300 kids, being able to offer 5 or 6 scholarships each year would allow us to make a BIG difference! Scholarships cost $210 for one girl to play or $260 for a boy to take the field.
After the season ended, but before we had a chance to store them off the practice fields, three of our nets were destroyed. Each will cost $200 to replace.
Our current WOW is two (2) electronic scoreboards, once each for the girls' teams at Fisk Field and the boys at Bellamy Fields.
